Experience: I bring seven years of experience in the behavioral health field, where I served in diverse roles—supporting refugee youth as a Case Manager, guiding foster children as a Behavior Support Specialist, and walking alongside adults experiencing psychosis as a Peer Support Specialist. These experiences have shaped my ability to approach each person with cultural humility and a strength-based perspective, while also advocating for their needs within complex systems. I’ve developed skills in de-escalation and crisis intervention, teaching grounding and coping strategies, and fostering open communication and conflict resolution. Above all, I strive to empower individuals and communities by honoring their resilience and amplifying their voices.
Education: I received my undergraduate in Social Work at Eastern Washington University in 2020 where I did my internship with the Community Colleges of Spokane through the Head start Program as a Family Case Manager. After that I went back to Eastern to get a Masters in Social Work, doing my internship at Lutheran Community Services as a Case Manager for the Unaccompanied Minor Refugee Program. I graduated in June of 2024 with Masters in Social Work.
